GFZA Offices, June 2026



As part of the National General Cleaning Days declared by H.E. President John Dramani Mahama, staff of the Ghana Free Zones Authority (GFZA) at the Head Office and all Regional Offices actively participated in the cleanup exercise held on 10th July 2026. The clean-up exercise was aimed at promoting environmental cleanliness, improving public health, and supporting the Government’s national sanitation agenda.



At the Head Office, the exercise was led by the Deputy Chief Executive Officer (Finance & Administration), Mr. Hamidu Sibiri Musah, on behalf of the Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Mary Awusi. He joined staff in cleaning the Authority’s premises and surrounding areas, demonstrating Management’s commitment to environmental stewardship and national development.



Across the Regional Offices, the clean-up exercises were spearheaded by the respective Regional Heads, with staff enthusiastically participating to ensure cleaner and healthier working environments.
The Authority’s participation underscores its commitment to corporate social responsibility, environmental sustainability, and the collective national effort to build a cleaner, healthier and more sustainable Ghana.
