Solar For Industries Ltd (often referred to as SFI and known as a subsidiary of LMI Holdings) is a renewable energy development company in Ghana focused on advancing large‑scale solar power generation. It has been entrusted with one of the country’s most ambitious clean energy projects; the construction of a utility‑scale solar park in the Dawa Industrial Enclave near Accra.
The core work of Solar For Industries Ltd is the development, installation and expansion of solar energy capacity to support industrial growth and reduce dependency on traditional electricity sources. Its flagship project involves building an initial 100 MWp solar facility, with plans to expand to 200 MWp and ultimately 1,000 MWp by 2032, which would make it one of the largest private sector-led utility-scale solar PV Plant in sub‑Saharan Africa outside South Africa.
By delivering clean, renewable power, the company aims to lower energy costs for industries, reduce carbon emissions and help Ghana meet its cleanenergy and sustainability goals. Solar For Industries Ltd works with international partners, including the International Finance Corporation (IFC) and plays an important role in Ghana’s transition toward industrialization powered by reliable and affordable clean energy.
