About Enterprise

Truecoco Ghana Limited is a Ghanaian agricultural processing and trading company that has been operating in the country since 2017. It focuses on responsible sourcing and value‑added supply chains for agricultural commodities, working directly with thousands of smallholder farmers in the Western Region of Ghana to procure high‑quality products that meet international standards. The company’s operations include buying, processing, and exporting agricultural goods, helping to connect local farmers with global markets in North America, Europe, and beyond.

A key part of Truecoco’s work is meeting complex compliance and certification requirements, particularly in organic agriculture and traceable supply chains. The firm sources produce such as coconuts and soybeans from over 4,000 small‑scale farmers, ensuring that products are processed and prepared to meet export standards and customer specifications. This approach supports sustainable farming practices and helps improve the livelihoods of farming communities.

In recent years, Truecoco has also become a leader in industrial‑scale carbon removal and climate‑smart agriculture. It launched a biochar project in Ghana that transforms coconut husk waste into high‑quality biochar—a product that improves soil health, retains moisture, and captures carbon from the atmosphere. Supported by investment partnerships, this initiative aims to remove significant amounts of CO₂ by 2030, expand processing capacity, and create additional income streams for farmers, while contributing to environmental sustainability and local economic growth.
