Ghana Free Zones Authority Wins Two Awards

The Ghana Free Zones Authority won two awards at the 2021 Corporate Ghana Awards. The GFZA emerged as the Trade and Investment Company of the Year whilst its CEO, Amb Mike Oquaye Jnr, was honoured as the ‘Enterprising C.E.O of the Year’.

Speaking at the sidelines of the event, Amb Oquaye stated that Ghana was on the verge of becoming the centre of the African trade boost. 

He added that “The team and I at the Ghana Free Zones Authority, chaired by the Hon Alan John Kwadwo Kyerematen, will continue to take the right steps in this regard.”

The GFZA was established to promote economic development and regulate activities in free zones and for related purposes in Ghana. Since its inception, the Authority has adopted innovative and efficient means to meet its statutory obligations.
