Courtesy call on Chiefs within the Sekondi Industrial Park and Yabiw-Shama Export Processing Zone

The Chief Executive officer of the Ghana Free Zones Authority, Dr. Mary Awusi and her Team, while on a working visit to the Western Region from April 10th to 11th, visited some Chiefs within the Sekondi Industrial Park and the Shama Export Processing Zone. A courtesy call was paid on Opanyin Frank Ofori Buah and Nana Taama II, the official Caretaker Chief and Queenmother of Eshiem respectively at the Ebiradze Ebusua Adehye Palace in Eshiem as well as the Regent of Sofokrom, Safohen Ekow Nkrumah at Anoe both in Sekondi.

She led the Team to also pay a courtesy call on Nana Kwamina Wienu II, Chief of Yabiw-Shama and Ag. Paramount Chief of Shama Traditional Council, before proceeding to Sofokrom to meet with the Regent, Queen Mother and Elders of the community. The aim of the visit was to introduce the newly appointed CEO of the GFZA to the Chiefs, discuss challenges and solutions to enhance the existing relationship.
