GFZA employees visit Golden Exotics for an ‘Enterprise Experience’

On April 11, 2025, a team from the Ghana Free Zones Authority (GFZA), led by Madam Patience Agbleze Acorlor, Director of Corporate Affairs & Public Relations, visited Golden Exotic Limited—a subsidiary of the French fruit distributor Compagnie Fruitière—in Asutuare as part of the Employee Enterprise Experience initiative. Established in 2003, Golden Exotic Limited is Ghana’s leading banana producer and exporter under the Ghana Free Zones, managing two plantations spanning about 2,500 hectares.

Upon arrival, the GFZA team was warmly welcomed and briefed on basic hygiene protocols before being led on a comprehensive tour. The visit aimed to offer an in-depth understanding of Golden Exotic Limited’s operations, processes, and manufacturing practices.

The team was notably impressed with Golden Exotic Limited’s commitment to quality, organic food production, community engagement through various CSR initiatives, and their dedication to employee welfare. The Ghana Free Zones Authority looks forward to maintaining and strengthening it’s collaborative relationship with them.
