


On Tuesday, 15th September 2026, the Ghana Free Zones Authority (GFZA) participated in the opening ceremony of the 9th Ghana Industrial Summit and Exhibition (GISE) 2026, organized by the Association of Ghana Industries (AGI) at the Under-bridge Annex, East Legon, Accra. Held under the theme, “Driving Sustainable Export-Led Industrial Growth through Energy Reliability and Digital Government”, the Summit brought together government officials, industry players, investors, businesses and other stakeholders to discuss issues and opportunities around Ghana’s industrial development, Trade and Investment. On the sidelines of the event an exhibition will run from 15th to 17th September 2026.
The GFZA was represented by Mr. Hamidu Sibiri Musah, Deputy Chief Executive Officer (Finance and Administration), and Ms. Anita Novi Quashie, Director, Marketing and Investment Promotion. The Authority’s participation formed part of GFZAs continued engagement with the private sector and other stakeholders in promoting Ghana as an investment destination and advancing export-oriented industrial development.
The Summit was graced by the presence of the Hon. Sampson Ahi, Deputy Minister for Trade, Agribusiness and Industry; Mr. Anthony Kwasi Sarpong, Commissioner-General of the Ghana Revenue Authority; representatives of the 24-Hour Economy and Accelerated Export Development Secretariat; and other dignitaries. Following the opening ceremony, the GFZA representatives joined the dignitaries on a tour of the exhibition booths, where they engaged with participating businesses and took interest in the products, innovations and opportunities on display.
