The Association of Ghana Industries hosted its annual regional meeting for the Eastern, Volta, and Oti regions at Ho, the Volta regional capital.
The forum’s theme was “Building Resilient Industries for the Eastern, Volta, and Oti Regions for Long-Term Development.” The forum brought together leaders from numerous companies and government organizations, as well as representatives of the International community.
As the forum’s special guest of honor, Honourable Hebert Krapa, Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry in charge of International Trade and Export, underlined the government’s aim to expand the capacities of current industries. He also highlighted the ministry’s intention to implement a national export development strategy, which will assist propel the country’s exports. The minister alsostated that the government will boost the industry by giving litigation-free lands through the Ghana Free Zones Authority in order to establish industrial parks in all 16 regions of the country.
