Expo 2020 Dubai Officially Opened to Visitors

Ghana’s pavilion at the Expo 2020 Dubai officially opened to visitors on 1st October 2021. The Ghana pavilion, located under the sub-theme Opportunity district, offers an experience for visitors to walk through Ghana’s rich and diverse culture, and provides information on investment opportunities in sectors such as trade and industry, agriculture, education, tourism, banking and finance, energy, construction, etc.

Amb. Michael A.N.N.Y. Oquaye, CEO of the Ghana Free Zones Authority, led a team from the Authority to engage prospective investors in the Ghana Pavilion.

The Authority’s participation in the Expo 2020 Dubai is mainly to promote investment opportunities under Ghana’s free zones concept, interact and exchange ideas and connect with change makers.

Other trade-related institutions participating in the expo are the Ghana Export Promotion Authority, Ghana Exim Bank, and Ghana Investment Promotion Centre.

Ghana’s participation in the expo is led by the Ministry of Trade and Industry, heralding the theme “limitless opportunity”.
