Accra, 2nd December 2025.

On Thursday, 27th November 2025, staff of the Ghana Free Zones Authority (GFZA) came together to celebrate men’s health under the theme: Together we climb for the men in our lives because early detection saves lives.
The event featured an insightful Prostate Health Awareness Talk delivered by Dr. Jephthah M. Adotey of Afrah International Hospital. He emphasized the importance of early detection, recognising warning signs, and adopting a family centred approach to care reminding staff that prioritising personal health is also an act of love toward those who depend on us.

The Men’s Day Celebration was vibrant and engaging, highlighted by a Happy Men’s Day Toast, Blue Tie Display, Stairs Challenge, comedy skits Sticky Notes Wall and nostalgic old-school DJ mixes. Each activity reinforced the message that movement matters, with research showing that regular exercise can reduce the risk of prostate cancer by up to 30, and vigorous activity by up to 60%

Management extended special recognition to the Corporate Affairs & PR Department, Human Resource, Administration, and MIS departments for their creativity and commitment in organising all the Blue November activities from the Blue Tie Challenge to the Fitness and Stairs Challenge making the month both impactful and memorable.

Appreciation was also expressed to our female colleagues for their support and encouragement, which contributed significantly to the success of the celebrations.
