GFZA Participates in CCI France Ghana Manufacturing and Agribusiness Business Breakfast Meeting

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry France Ghana (CCIFG), on Wednesday, 3rd June 2026, organised a high-level Manufacturing and Agribusiness Business Breakfast meeting at the French Residence in Accra under the theme, “Manufacturing & Agribusiness Outlook 2026: Creating an Enabling Environment for Manufacturing Growth.”

Representing the Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Free Zones Authority, Dr. Mary Awusi, as the keynote speaker, the Director of Corporate Affairs, PR & Aftercare, Dr. Patience Agbleze Acorlor described the business breakfast as a timely and relevant platform that encourages meaningful dialogue, strengthens partnerships and promotes practical engagement aimed at building stronger collaborations across sectors.

She noted that creating a competitive and enabling environment for businesses remains essential to positioning Ghana as a preferred destination for manufacturing and agribusiness investments.

She further highlighted the critical role of innovation, policy consistency, infrastructure development and institutional support in enhancing productivity and improving the competitiveness of local industries within the global market.

As part of the programme, participants engaged in insightful panel discussions focused on key issues affecting the growth of the manufacturing and agribusiness sectors. Discussions centred on the importance of stronger institutional collaboration among regulatory agencies, policymakers and private sector stakeholders to address operational challenges, improve the ease of doing business, and promote sustainable industrial growth.

The panelists also explored emerging opportunities within the manufacturing and agribusiness sectors, emphasizing the role of innovation, technology, value addition, access to financing, and global partnerships in helping Ghanaian businesses penetrate international markets, sustain competitive brands, and enhance export competitiveness.

The event brought together representatives of government agencies, members of CCIFG, key industry players, investors, private sector actors and stakeholders within Ghana’s manufacturing and agribusiness sectors.
