The Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Free Zones Authority (GFZA), Dr. Mary Awusi, welcomed members of the Tüzun Transformer Group Türkiye led by the CEO Mr. Mehet Tüzun to understand the free Zones concept and explore investment opportunities in Ghana.
The team was taken through the Free Zones Scheme, including its objectives, licensing processes, and benefits for investors, they choose Ghana amongst others.
The CEO of the Authority, Dr. Awusi assured the team of the Authority’s full support and guidance to make their intent of establishing a company to operate under the scheme very smooth.
She highlighted Ghana’s political stability, strategic position as the host of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA), and growing economic stability as clear reasons why investing in the country is ideal.
The Tüzun Group expressed interest in sectors such as manufacturing, logistics, and value-added exports. Dr. Awusi commended them for choosing Ghana and reaffirmed GFZA’s commitment to partnerships that create jobs and boost trade.
