The Ghana Free Zones Authority (GFZA) participated in the Food Sector and Poultry Import Business Forum hosted by the Embassy of Hungary in Accra on 23rd September 2025. The Forum, organized in collaboration with Governance Africa Ghana, underscored key themes including the poultry industry, chicken farming, poultry feed, innovation and modern technology in poultry production, food security, as well as the presentation of Hungarian cheese products that have achieved competitiveness and success across Europe.


The event convened key stakeholders such as Exim Bank, the 24-Hour Economy Secretariat, leading private companies in the poultry and agribusiness sectors, and major Hungarian agricultural companies. Discussions focused on advancing innovation in poultry production, strengthening food security, and fostering investment opportunities for mutual growth.
The Authority was represented by Mr. Hamidu Sibiri Musah, Deputy CEO (F&A), and Ms. Anita Quashie, Director of Marketing and Investment Promotion.
