Trade Minister Visits Two Free Zones Enterprises

The Minister of Trade, Agribusiness and Industry (MOTAI), Hon. Elizabeth Ofosu-Adjare, led a delegation to visit two free zone enterprises—Wahu Mobility Company Limited, a designer and local manufacturer of connected eco-friendly electric vehicles; and Entrance Pharmaceuticals Limited, a pharmaceutical products manufacturing company on Friday, 21st November 2025, with the aim of familiarizing herself with the companies’ operations and understanding their challenges.

During the visits, the Minister engaged with management, toured the facilities, and assured the companies of the government’s unwavering support, reaffirming her commitment to their success.

The Minister’s visit is expected to promote economic revitalization and strengthen government–private sector collaboration, ultimately driving investment and economic growth in Ghana, in line with the government’s Reset Agenda.

She was accompanied by officials of the Ghana Free Zones Authority (GFZA), including Mr. Lateef Apau Wiredu, Deputy Chief Executive Officer (Operations); Dr. Patience Agbleze Acorlor, Director of Corporate Affairs; and Mr. Michael Larbi, Head of Compliance; as well as other officers from the GFZA and MOTAI.
