
The Ghana Free Zones Authority (GFZA), in collaboration with the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC), held a business meeting with Teleperformance Ghana (formerly Majorel Ghana Limited) on Thursday, April 3, 2025. Teleperformance is a global Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) enterprise operating within the Free Zones.
The meeting took place at the company’s head office in Accra and was focused on discussing the company’s plans to expand its operations in Ghana and launch new office spaces.
During the meeting, Mr. Thomas Mackenbrock, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Group, welcomed the delegation and commended Ghana’s relatively favorable business climate in the subregion. He highlighted Ghana’s growing potential as a strategic hub for BPOs. Mr. Mackenbrock emphasized Teleperformance’s sustained growth since its entry into the Ghanaian market, noting that the recent expansion includes the opening of its third operational facility in the country.

He also mentioned that the company currently employs over 1,300 Ghanaians and, with continued expansion, projects the potential to create up to 10,000 jobs in the near future.
On behalf of the C.E.O., Mr. Musah Sibri Hamidu, Deputy C.E.O. for Finance & Administration, represented the GFZA. He assured the company executives about the vast opportunities available under the Free Zones for expanding their operations.
Other attendees included Mr. Simon Madjie, C.E.O. of the GIPC, and Ms. Anita Novi Quashie, Director of Marketing and Investment Promotion at GFZA.
After the meeting, participants were given a tour of the company’s modern facility, followed by an inauguration ceremony to celebrate the new office spaces.
